I can agree that shaming a whole fandom is bad and I'm not too crazy about the act of drawing Rose skinny in "solidarity" (it seems more like spite to me)

But you can't really say that people saying something isn't happening just because you're not seeing it.

Not too far off tbh. The amount of bullying I've seen towards SU fanartists for amateur drawing mistakes (or the bullies lack of understanding of art) is appalling.

The solidarity art is so freaking cringe-worthy. Like, Zamii didn't even habitually draw Rose as thin, that one drawing was from like 2013 when there were less than ten episodes out, and people had to try to figure out what she looked like from that one photo and the painting that wasn't shown much (I don't even remember if it was visible in earliest episodes). Zamii's newer art from after we actually got enough footage of Rose to know what she looked like, had her looking like she does in canon.

The "solidarity art" feels more like it's either missing the point, self-righteous attention seeking, or it's just supposed to specifically piss off SJWs, who will then use it to be self-righteous, because the Thin Art Apocalypse they predicted happening the minute they stop viciously guarding the fandom's absolute moral purity, actually seems to have come true.

I laugh at how fandoms like these kind of circle in on themselves because they 'just can't stand' other people drawing or reacting to things after going after other fandom bullies. Ya'll are crazy.
