setting race aside, do the ones you know actually care about the issues mentioned in lady-dragoon's comment? because that's the important part.

Yeah, I do care about those issues and don't think the MRM as a whole addresses them very well.

I'm giving a quip to ayrt because I'm not especially fond of the complaints reduce the MRM to "bitter nerdy white guys," especially when it's pretty likely that they're also three out of those four.
