Ummm... desperate RPers, I guess? I'm not an RPer but I've had the experience of posting fic in a non RP community and being asked off the bat by the mod if I want to RP just because I was writing the pairing the liked. They seemed to ask everyone who wrote their OTP to RP as well.

This person seemed genuinely nice, but I got the impression they started the comm just to find an RP partner. Whereas I joined because of what it said on the tin: a place to talk generally and post fic. It made me a little reluctant to post in the comm, tbh.
