Yea, that's true; it varies from person to person.

I suppose it's possible that the author OP is talking about did include comfort but not much of it. I guess for me I like an equal amount, so I could see how someone might feel a bit disappointed if the comfort was over extremely quickly.

Now if we're talking a brief, three sentence mention of comfort then that wouldn't count at all for me, lol, but the author would still be in their rights to post it, just... Might want to reconsider the tags.

Or, a note before fic would be good.

Though, again, if people don't like the way she ends her fics you think they would avoid them.
