Think I'm gonna just quit Nano now and save myself the heartache. I haven't written anything, I don't know how to start, I don't know where to go from there... sigh... I should just stop trying to write altogether. I've never won Nano, and I'll never write anything worth reading.

You won't ever make it if you stop trying, Anon! It doesn't matter if you write 50000 words or 500 or heck even 50 or 5. At least you've written something, and that's a start! I believe in you!

Besides this is just the first (or second for some) day of November. That's nothing! You have all the month left to think of something! And not everything you write have to be a masterpiece. Think of it as practice! Remember, it takes at least 10 000 hours of doing something before you can say you've mastered it!

SA

Also, NaNo isn't for everyone. Maybe you don't thrive on writing a lot during one month. That's fine! Everyone writes differently. Find the way that works for you!
