You won't miss walking so much because it was always painful, but you're going to miss swimming. Especially in the ocean which is now off limits to you.

Oh, and stop hiding how sick you're getting. It gets a lot worse and people can't really understand or accept it because "you were healthy!". At least tell your best friends. They're going to be cool about it.

Go on more long trips while you can. Go alone. Enjoy being independent while you still can.

Don't take the retail job. Your old boss has been waiting for you to ask for a job at the new firm.

Most importantly, we don't stay homeless forever. It's two and a bit years, and we managed. It would be nice to know in advance. Nobody who gives a shit about you thinks any less of you for it. If people in the future are weird about it, you can tell them to fuck right off. There's no shame in being homeless.
