It seems very different from Talk Shows to me as someone who has never liked a single talk show until now. I've only just started watching episodes of the Colbert Show since the Late Show started. I love them both. They are both different, but they are both awesome. I just really love Colbert. His enthusiasm is really enjoyable, I agree with his politics mostly, and he's just a pleasure to watch.

If you're specifically talking about Oliver and Thea, the showrunners realized and corrected their mistakes with that relationship in the second season. No more closeups in their scenes with each other, no more Thea passionately comfronting Oliver about how he left her, no more dimly lit sets.

They had crazy chemistry in Season One, made a all the more obvious by the fact that Ollie didn't strike many sparks with his love interests.

I never even watched an episode with her in it. I'm just bothered about her death in the context of how every single other female character was treated on the show. I care about her death because it is part of a pattern.
