Adult onesies and footie pajamas are ugly and juvenile, and I think people who wear them are maladjusted and trying to return to childhood to deal with it.

I find footie pajamas tempting (though I don't own any) because my regular pajama pants legs end up around my damn knees, which is hella annoying.

OR they live in a cold climate, and all that coziness just looks really cozy. No, I don't have one yet, but damn, I've been considering it. I'm wearing socks and fluffy slippers right now, and my feet are still cold.

They seem SUPER inconvenient for going to the bathroom, especially in the middle of the night when you're only half-awake.

I don't typically like the look of them but I also don't think people wearing them says anything about their mental state, lol.

And I bought a pair...last year, I think? It was a hoodie with Mickey Mouse ears and footie pajamas. I haven't had a chance to actually wear them yet (hasn't been cold enough for it), but I love them and am looking forward to it. My feet are always cold, so another layer over them can only be a good thing.

I don't get the appeal either. I actually did have some when I was a kid and hated them. SO inconvenient when you had to go to the bathroom...

I won't deny that they are ugly, but when I have to keep my house at around 55 degrees because I can't afford to heat it more, they are damned warm and necessary. It has nothing to do with my mental state, and I definitely do not wish to return to childhood.

That sounds comfy.

I don't think I'd wear them because I prefer to sleep with few clothes on, and because it does sound annoying to go to the bathroom in them, but they sound warm. I think you're overreacting.

I've got one that looks like a cow and even has footies. It's ugly and I feel a bit silly wearing it, but WOW is it ever cosy.
