I was actually thinking about this the other day. I think your viewpoint is awfully simplistic for a number of reasons. The medical advancements that allow us to breed despite genetic problems are the same advancements that allow us to treat conditions that are the result of those problems. And people still overwhelmingly die of conditions not caused by genetics.* Why specifically - assuming you're not trolling - do you think this will cause us to go "down the toilet"? Are you envisioning a future where suddenly none of that medical help will be available, and where genetic disorders that affect survival and reproductive ability have a very large representation in the human gene pool?

*not counting stuff like cancer that you have genetic predispositions for, since that stuff typically happens long after people reproduce
