But that's a sale. That's not the customer deciding you're asking too much and saying, "I want this but refuse to pay the full price." Because often, they'll still come back and pay for that full price. So your point is moot.

When people haggle with artists for exposure, it's not because they legitimately want to give exposure, or the person needs it. They'll often get jobs, and the ones you go to tend to already have plenty of it. They offer exposure because that's how little they think of the artist's time and don't want to pay someone to, and I quote what someone has said, "stand around and take pictures that my grandmother could with her cheap disposable."
