Re: Tooth and Claw: it's popular because the Doctor and Rose clearly just did it for the first time after a lot of sexual tension and are being giggly and dumb together. Also, werewolves? People like those, I think.

I actually like werewolves. I just thought it was a poor example of them. And since I wasn't into Doctor/Rose at all, that part of the episode held no appeal (and I don't actually think they had sex). I can see why people like it, I just don't get why some talk about it as one of the best episodes. It just seems so badly written to me.

Think about this ep in retrospect in terms of how the Doctor's disrespect of Queen Victoria (resulting in the creation of Torchwood) comes back to bite him in the ass at the end of S2 with Doomsday.
