Characters get trapped in a tight, enclosed space by some sort of plot contrivance. Initially annoyed or afraid but then get distracted by the physical proximity and get turned on and make with the sexy (or maybe one of them is trying to distract or comfort the other or really there's a lot of things you can do)

Well, considering I have a whole list of things I'm working on for my current fic, here are a few ideas:

double anal penetration (I'm writing slash, but this could also work for het) either with a toy or another person
sensory deprivation- blindfold, gag, bondage, ear plugs, maybe nose plugs? something to make touch heightened.
temperature play- ice cubes, heated oil
playing with piercings- I'm kind of obsessed with nipple piercings at the moment
rape play- where it is clearly role play and the submissive one asked for it

I have apparently forgotten how to write. My yuletide gift is so full of shit and bad writing and I don't know what to do about it other than just power through to the end, focus on a few treats that excite me and then hope maybe I can get back to the gift with fresh eyes.

Same. Your strategy sounds good. It's always easier to curate a bad draft than to write from scratch, so write, write away!

I'm working on my first multi-chapter thing. I wrote one chapter, but I've kind of stalled on the next two. I have a whole list of ideas, but I really want those two to be chapters 2 and 3. So I need to get them done. I was really excited by the idea, but getting them actually written is proving to be a challenge.

Daily updates is really tough. I've written my several hundred thousand words in my time, and I could never keep to daily updates. If it's not working for you, don't push it! Better give yourself a bit more time, and polish stuff, and let the ideas percolate properly.
Why do you need to update daily, anyway?

I'm struggling with an action scene right now. I have the general idea of how I want to do it, but the pov character makes it pretty hard to write it well and I can't change the pov character.

My advice, regardless of pov: short, simple sentences. It creates the sensation that everything is happening really fast. And when something action-y happens, your attention tends to focus on the bare minimum of what's happening, so it's not going to be ooc.

That's what I usually do. I also try to keep those scenes short and keep details to a minimum, because the pov character rarely has the time to notice much.

My current problem it's that something important happens in the middle, but I don't want to do a info dump by the end of the scene, so I'm trying to find an organic way to fit it.
