(Anonymous) 2015-11-08 02:36 am (UTC)(link)The easiest cut-and-dry scenario would be if the parent(s) were an immediate threat to their children and said children reacted in self-defense. Everything else is a bit gray... especially if the kids are of age (whatever it may be) because people might just say they were lucky to have a home at all, etc.
That being said, I would never condemn the daughter of the Fritzl case for murdering her father or her mother despite not being in immediate danger because jesus christ that was messed up.
