This pretty much proves my point that most people remember (whether it be with rose-tinted nostalgia or personal experience) that LJ wasn't as festering of a SJW hellhole as Tumblr is, when in reality, there were parts of LJ that were like that. It's just that, given the "insular" nature of LJ communities and personal journals, 90% of the time, none of it really pinged anyone's radar. With how "open" Tumblr is, all that stuff is now out in the open for everyone to see.
