From what I remember of LJ communities were well modded and any drama could be shut down immediately. If it was as bad as your experience, then you were just in the wrong place. That type of harassment and dogpiling shit happens on tumblr too. Maybe you just got lucky that your followers are tolerant and no SJW happens to see your post through that broken search function.

SJW can spam tags of anything that bothers them and there is no moderator to delete it or tell them to back off. They will send anon hate and form little groups to harass whoever their agreed upon target is. They can invade the safe spaces of other people and rune it for no good reason other than they don't agree with you. Tumblr staff doesn't do shit about it. I've gone through several fandom raids and seen friends and artist dogpiled because they set one toe out of line by their standards.

I mean... good for you if you managed to evade this bullshit but if you think tumblr is safer then you are sadly mistaken.
