Great female protagonist who goes through a lot of development, great secondary protagonists who are all lovely and adorable and with a nice dose of angst.
The plotting is a little bit weak and contrived in some places (and it's noticeable imo because it IS overall a pretty great series).

(Anonymous) 2015-11-12 10:57 am (UTC)(link)Back in college, I used to buy half a kilo of rambutan from a street vendor on my way home and I usually end up eating them all by evening. When I'm feeling generous, I'd buy a kilo so half of it is mine and the other half would be for the rest of the family. I am a rambutan glutton.

I have a friend whose family owns a mangosteen farm, and they would give away mangosteen on the verge of being overripe so it won't spoil. I like eating it with a bit of salt to bring out the sweetness.
