Please read up on body/brain maps. Regardless of the "we're all the same!" rhetoric we like to throw out there to make everyone feel included, there are actually (as in scientifically proven) differences in male and female brains and bodies, and trans people's brains don't match up with their bodies. It's as simple as that.

If you're talking about bunselves and various other special snowflake "genders", then yes, I absolutely agree with you.

I would be interested in learning more about those differences. What are they?

I've talked to trans people and every time, it's been along the lines of "I like sports and not shopping therefore I'm a man" or things like that.
