LOL one of the things that puzzled me back in the day when Married with Children was on was how Al seemed kind of oblivious as to how hot his wife was.

I remember seeing a behind the scenes thing where apparently that was something the creators/actors/etc were asked A LOT (because really, she is gorgeous.)

Apparently the reasoning was that, "It doesn't matter who it is, when it's your wife you don't see it." So yeah, that was basically the whole joke was that Peggy was hot but because they got married Al could no longer see her that way.

That depends on just how old OP is. My brother is going through chemo right now and marathoned both SOA and Game of Thrones with our mother. And OP could easily be twenty and therefore think Katey Sagal is old enough to be her grandmother. It's not so weird.
