Exactly! When you only have one season and you KNOW it's going to be the final one, I just feel like there's this extra responsibility to make it good.

IA, if you know this is the end then make it a fantastic end! Give it all you've got! Not saying give the fans everything they want, but maybe take into consideration why they were attracted to the show in the first place and work from there.

I feel like TPTB probably did try, their judgement was just extremely poor.

Really, what they should've done was give the fans their Peter/Roman season. I'm not saying full on slash (though by all indications, fandom is totally down for that) but this was the season they ought to have been the team they set out to be in season 1. Friendship! Finding their telekinetic baby! More Shelly!

I'm not over it, obviously, but it could've been so much better than it was and it's a crying shame. I don't know how they could've screwed it up so badly.
