There are more than one reason I read slash. Yes, a lot of times it is just because two guys are hot. But my slash OTPs tend to be my OTPs because I find the characters and their dynamics interesting. And if I really love a ship I don't just read smutty fics, I'll read it all. I love character exploration.

But yes, sometimes I just want two hot guys together, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I would also like to say this is my reason for slashing. Two guys may be hot together, but I also have to like them as characters.
