Doesn't having two stomachs seem really nice though? You could eat so much. In fact, you probably would have to eat a lot.

one of my favorite things about The Horse And His Boy was the part where they explain how centaurs have to eat and finish it up with "so you see, it's a very serious thing to invite a centaur for breakfast"

Silver Chair! It's the only time in Narnia anyone actually rides a centaur too.
