Dude, while I totally get how it must suck to be a guy in slash fandom...I'm not entirely sure what you expected, though?

A lot of shipping isn't about the "depth of their character" (while, one might like their personality of course) - it's about porn. Or at least about arousal and gratification.

And guess what..some people think buttfucking is hot. And not all of those people are gay.

I mean, it's sort of like being a lesbian who complains about straight dudes watching fake lesbian porn. I have sympathy for what you're saying, but wanting to change it seems like...you're fighting windmills. Because ultimately both these "genres", if I may generously call them that, are about arousal - and based on the principle that two dudes are better than one, and two girls are better than one.

Add to that that slash/yaoi has historically been a predominantly female genre, I really do feel like you're going to have a bad time if you're going to want to "call out" everyone. I mean, you obviously have every right to do so, but realize this is probably not a battle you can win, and you might just end up frustrating yourself.

Now if you personally are being objectified/harassed - by all mean, give "em hell - but if it's characters...I think that is to be expected, honestly.
