Psych Fandom

Shawn and Gus are one of my favorite brOTPs, but I'm neutral about romantically shipping them. I prefer Carlton/Shawn or Gus/Jules.

Part of it is I tend not to ship two people who have grown up together. Part of it is I love fic that has a newer romantic relationship and the best friend reacting/being involved.

Dresden/Marcone with Hendricks(/Gard)
Lestrade/John with Sherlock.
Carlton/Shawn with Gus(/Jules)

My patterns become transparent after a while. (laughs at self)

Sorry you are getting flack for your ship and other things. I do think fandom needs to step back sometimes and analyze things.

The bit in the parathesis in the first paragraph.

I know this secret only uses Psych as an example, but that was me using an example of why people not shipping Shawn/Gus doesn't automatically equal racism.
