Well despite the Fanlore article given above, I really do fit into the stereotype of slash fans - white hetrosexual female who often ships two white men. Does that make it a fetish? Meh.

But I don't expect you to live up to anything I see in slash fics. I am well aware of the statements that float around saying slash does not match real life gay experience.

But I will still read slash, if I like the characters. That's more important to me than the simple male/male equation, or even the two white guys equation - I have to like the two males being paired.
