19. Whenever I see a secret like this about a group of fans I get the feeling that it's actually a troll from an opposing side trying to make the other side look bad.

Actually I'm pretty sure 99% of the secrets posted here are bullshit.

26. I love them, but I don't really have many Japanese bands to compare them with, I wish I could ask for recs, but I don't know who to ask.

28. most of the times I only stop watching if the show sucks balls and the only thing that kept me watching was the character, or sometimes the show might be great, but I just really can't get into it with my fav character gone.

But I understand where you're coming from, sometimes it's just not possible to keep watching, it's happened to me with a couple shows.

I'm not into anything, that's the thing, I just love what I've heard so far, and all of it is from anime OPs. So I listen to a song, and I like it, and then I look for more of the artist, and I would love to branch out of only anime music, but I'm too embarrassed to ask.

I almost posted a secret just to get some recs.

oh i meant what music you listen to now, as in non-japanese music! i do love me some visual kei although strictly speaking it's not a music genre, more of a style. still, it's a good way of getting into current/popular japanese rock bands, although some of the best split up years ago. i'm slowly getting into jpop as well, though it's female singers only for that.

so, what do you listen to now?

I've always loved Rock and Punk, ballads specially, I like a strong feeling without it being completely heavy, more like Rock with sentiment. My favorite bands are oldies, think Deff Leppard, Aerosmith, Metallica, Nirvana.

Pop too, like Plentarium from Ai Otsuka, I'm a sucker for that kind of romantic music. :o

But I'm open if you want to rec a band that you think is really good, any genre.

HAHA my friend kaona sent that song to me just yesterday hfjkds but i forgot to listen to it oops. for jpop i'd rec ayumi hamasaki, koda kumi, morning musume, YUI, maaya sakamoto or nana kitade (i LOVE her).

for jrock i suggest x japan, hide, alice nine., asian kung-fu generation, ART-SCHOOL, abingdon boys school, malice mizer (the gackt years), lolita 23q, luna sea, miyavi, 12012, panic channel/PANIC☆ch and i think that is enough suggestions haha. there is a pretty varied mix in there but i don't know if you'll like any of it as it really is an acquired taste.
