14. WORD. Though I don't really miss it, necessarily - I could never get into it in the first place because the writing got so shoddy after a while. Great art, yeah, but Hoshino needs to stop getting hit by buses and start actually planning shit out before she vomits it onto paper.

14. Planning out what in the series? The plot? Any 'new' plot points that have been set into play recently have pretty much been hinted at and developed towards since volume 1. It's an odd and endlessly confusing series, certainly, but it's not because she isn't planning stuff as she goes along. It's just because fans don't know what exactly she's planning yet and how certain pieces are going to be tied together.

Of course, that's not to say that there's nothing wrong with the series. The pacing and amount of real character development is poor at times. Also, writing's good again if you ask me. Try chapters 134-138.

Yeah!

The way Ben is so manipulative and self-righteous got me into him, then I watched him in a few other shows. He's particularly good on The Inside, where he plays a serial killer who goes after people he thinks will become murderers, and on The Practice, where he's not as sexy but plays an insane, very creepy killer well. I saw those episodes on youtube, and they might still be up there.

7. That's pretty awesome. Sure, other people might think you're a dork for it, but I think that's a great reason to do what you did. I think more than most games out there, FFT was one that really made you think.

38. Agreed. Well, not so much Dr. Who. All the Dr. Who players I've seen have been really good. But the Reborn casts in most RPs I read? They kinda scare me, to be honest. It seems like the characters just have one personality quirk to them, and that's IT. Then you constantly play on that. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm on volume 2 of the manga and it looks like that really is the case ~_~

I loved FFT's portrayal of what history sometimes truly is and even though some people say that the lack of a clear resolution in the end towards those huge problems presented in the beginning was bad for the game as a whole, I thought it said something resoundly louder than had it ended with all the nobles and peasants holding hands in harmony. Ramza was no huge people-loved 'jumped-out-of-a-storybook' hero, he was a man who believed in justice yet didn't think he could change the entire world. In that end, his noble deeds aren't even remembered until centuries later and one can even argue that his actions didn't even change society, but he wasn't trying to do that to begin with. It was that sense of reality thrust upon a fictional world that really did something for me.
