Well, if it's post-series and Matsuda's all depressed about Raito and Ryuk is bored and comes down to prod some "old friends" a little and Matsuda gets all upset and slightly too into his memories of Raito and then there could be creepy mind-fuckyness.

Or alternatively, Raito's won and decides to freak Matsuda the hell out ...

I'm stopping thinking now.
