Re: Question to straight biys who watch lesbian porn
(Anonymous) 2015-11-17 12:31 am (UTC)(link)In any case, I wouldn't do either. Because, like, they're characters that I ship. I like imagining them in a relationship. Now, when they're fictional - but if they were real, then I wouldn't want to either disrupt their relationship by sleeping with one of them, or intrude on what would be a private and intimate thing by watching them have sex. I think the case would be the same for any actual people that I found hot in a relationship.
Porn's different, because it's like... the whole thing is a performance for the purpose of being watched. But an actual pairing that I ship, absolutely not.
What a weird, weird fucking hypothetical question.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-17 12:39 am (UTC)(link)Um, mostly because, again, I ship them in a relationship, I care about their relationship with each other. But also because... um, the immediate felt thing is that I'm not good enough for them. A more reasoned, objective way of expressing that is that I have major issues with self-confidence, self-image, and sexual expression, and that's probably one of the main reasons that I ship f/f stuff to start with.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-17 05:21 am (UTC)(link)This is exactly how I feel about it too. Even just thinking about it feels kind of uncomfortable. It would just be so intrusive towards something that I actually care quite a lot about, but from the outside.
