My last interview, we met at a cafe and I was early so I grabbed a bottle of juice without really looking at it. It had guava in it and my lips puffed up like a scary Angelina Jolie just in time for the person interviewing me to turn up.

I did get that job though.

For one interview I had a cold. I brought cough drops but ran out before the process was over so I was hacking when I met the super senior boss. Pretty sure I blew it because of that.

Yeah it is awkward when you're in a situation where you have to shake hands or something and you're contagious.
Coughing fits can't really be helped. You can try to hold them in, but I don't think turning purple is a good look either.
