I don't follow him closely but I genuinely like him; he's entertaining to watch and sometimes brings up good points/interesting remarks in his vids. Also, he doesn't appear to be afraid of showing emotion; there are a few let's plays (by other users) I couldn't get through because it was either all a joke to them (And jokes are good, just not ALL the time) or they showed almost no enthusiasm.

Agreed on the emotion part. Some of this videos have put him in actual tears and unlike some people out there, he really does love and adore his fans. He connects with them and listens and just geniunely seems to have fun.

I love it when people get all emotional over games. That's the reason I watch!

If you can watch an emotional, heavy scene without even blinking then I'm not interested.

Frankly, I'm the type to get weepy or angry or shocked over certain things too, and I like to see other people's reactions and thoughts to big reveals or events.

He sounds like a nice guy! I've only heard good things; anyone that makes an effort to reach out to their fanbase and tell them they're grateful deserves their success, imo.
