My current boss says interviewing for minimum wage is completely different from interviewing for something big. For a higher-paying job, you want to sound prepared, but for this work, he cares more if you can think a question through and answer it honestly. If someone comes prepared for typical interview questions, he changes the script to see if they can react to something unexpected.

Also, he interviewed eight people, and I was the only one he hired. I was also the only one who asked any questions about the job, and apparently that made a good impression on them.
