Yeah, I feel you. Obviously not all western comics and all, but the prevalent style for the major publishers is unappealing to me. Straddles the line between realism and caricature too awkwardly for me.

I have a little more luck with indie stuff, but a fair bit of that is too stiff feeling for me.

I've been reading comics for like the past five-four years bro.
Anon isn't too off from the truth, especially if you look at anything from the 90s or anything by Rob Liefield.
