I kinda get what you mean. It's incredibly annoying that so many people seem to think that a person's relevance and attractiveness come to a crashing end as soon as they pass 25 or 30 years old. It's a symptom of being in fandom, I guess---a lot of fandoms tend to skew to the teenage, at least in many online fandom areas. Tumblr for sure, which is where I usually go to find my fanart.

Yeah, I don't get that thinking, either. I'm in my early 30s, and sure, I might joke like, "Oh, that was twenty years ago already? Dang, I'm old!" but honestly, yeah, early 30s still leaves SO much possibility and future to look forward to, and mid 20s even more so. Especially considering how far life expectancy is going nowadays. It's not exactly like we're near death at these ages or anything.

It's fandom old apparently. There have been a few secrets here in the past saying how people older than 25 should leave because it's 'creepy'. It's lead to some really entertaining threads.
