I'm scared of getting sick.
I'm scared of oblivion (can't be avoided so i try not to think about it too much)
I'm scared of my SO no longer finding me attractive.

Eat smart and exercise to ward off illness. This will also keep you in shape so you will continue to be a hot tamale. And if your SO does fall out of love with you, then you are better off without them.

Personally, I believe in an afterlife so that's not an issue for me. However, if you believe in oblivion, why fear what will happen anyway?

That's what I do, too. I don't even want an afterlife, I simply want to finally get some rest.

I do believe in an afterlife, but it also comes with a damnation. Luckily my church's brand of damnation is oblivion. It's a better concept IMO than eternal torture.
