Honestly, I don't get it both because if you draw a character to look 20 years younger that isn't the character I know, and also because if I'm attracted to them, I'm attracted to their current self. I don't need you to take a couple decades off the actor or actresses appearance for them to be appealing; I already find them to be.

Not that everyone is going to feel that way because taste varies quite a bit, and sometimes people will write AU's that de-age the characters for whatever reason, but I'm not all that interested in those. Lots of people are, though. *shrugs*

This reminds me of that secret we had of John from BBC Sherlock. (I'm remembering that one correctly, right? He had no wrinkles.)

Also, this movie was pretty amazing and surprisingly poignant but it fucked me up, man. Ugh. (Are people in THAT fandom making Pegg look like a teen? That defeats the purpose of the film...)
