Validation, then, OP. I'm in my 50s, still rocking aling, enjoying myself far more now than I did in my 20s or 30s (40s was awesome), and wouldn't trade any of my earned wisdom, peace, and happiness for any younger age. I enjoy my fandom life and the ability to tell the naysayers to fuck off. It's very freeing, being old enough that people can't get away with telling me that fandom is a phase I'll get over. Getting older is just another adventure for me.

Awesome! I'm turning 40 years old next July, and I'm looking forward to it so much. *g* Life now is good, and it's going to be even better, because in March I'll finally have paid off all my debts.

So forget about the 20s or 30s - 40s here I come! *g*
