Eh, I assume that people in post-apocalyptic scenarios would still wash in just normal water same as medieval people did. Just because you don't have an actual bathroom or whatever doesn't mean you can't clean your bits. the idea that people didn't use to wash is just not true, it would be just as uncomfortable not to clean down there as it would be now.
