Poor personal hygiene, abusive, rude/dismissive to service people, cruel to animals, doesn't take care of themselves, doesn't eat vegetables (yes, REALLY), sexual incompatibility.

rude/dismissive to service people

omg yes. In addition to it being shitty and unpleasant, and of course my own experience as a server/cashier...it says a lot about someone's overall character, doesn't it?

It really does. I too have worked in customer service, and it's clear there are some people who really think they're "above" people in that line of work, or who just will not be satisfied no matter what you do. It's a very telling experience in a lot of ways.

I'll also agree with the OP of this section's mention of cruelty to animals. No way am I going to be with someone who mistreats animals. Not only is it a horrible way to treat them, but it's also often an indicator of how the animal abuser will treat other people as well.

Yes...I almost feel like that doesn't need to be said. I think if I were with someone and saw him purposefully harm an animal it'd be over then and there. (Fortunately, I think it's unlikely I'd be with that sort of person in the first place, but you never know, especially in the early stages of dating.)
