I think you're taking this too much to heart, anon. Lots of people never admit their crushes at all no matter how conventionally attractive they are. When a crush isn't conventionally attractive, they can get a lot of blowback from admitting they find the crush hot. And then there are people like Ugly Anon, who regularly shows up in the comments to criticize how everyone looks. I'm surprised they're not here yet, actually.

Me, I married a guy who looks a lot like the man in the secret and I love him to pieces. We've been happy for more than fifteen years.

Tyler Labine is SUPER CUTE, and Tucker is so friggin brave and sweet (and smart too! just not in a way other people might recognize)

I really loved that the movie gave him that little quirk about remembering everything he hears or reads. People don't realize that there are people who actually have very high IQs, but for whatever reason can seem really dumb to others; it's just their minds log certain things, or move in different ways. In Tucker's case, he's really very smart, but he saw himself as stupid, so you didn't get to see it because he hides it.

Echoing what other people have said. Bigger and beardy is delightful. Sometimes people are just assholes towards others who express interest in people who aren't Hollywood-gorgeous, just as they can be towards people who aren't stereotypically pretty themselves.
