The only drinks I prefer icy cold are super sweet sodas and cider. I'm not too fond of loads of ice in drinks (just fresh out of the fridge cold is great) but on the other hand, I really like chewing ice cubes.

Are you anemic by any chance? Eating ice is so strongly associated with anemia/iron deficiency that it's one of the diagnostic criteria.

Ah, yes, I've been wondering about that myself. I was planning to get a blood test done sometime...
