Disfigured how? If they're missing an eye, then yes, because there are ways of dealing with that; they can wear an eyepatch or obtain a glass eye, etc.

If there's some scarring or discoloration that doesn't cover the entire face, then yes.

If they were missing lips, nose, or teeth, I really don't think I could deal with that. I also don't think I could deal with burns that covered the majority of the face, or something like a birthmark or port-wine stain that covered the majority of the face.

If they're missing an ear? IDK, I guess that's not a big deal.
