No, lots of adults leave their houses fairly often. Including unemployed adults and those who don't have much of a social life.

If you notice, I did say many and not most or all. Some people are homebodies and have perfectly healthy and normal lives. Many other people would be homebodies if given the opportunity and means. And that's okay.
