That really depends on the artist, tough.

I mean obviously if you read superhero comics they'll have some muscle, as they are basically human fighting machines.

But just like every artist doesn't draw women with bathing suits for clothes and airbags for boobs, nt every artists draws guys like they had muscle mutations.

Yeah, I came here to say that. Some artists have absolutely no sense of anatomy, it's hilarious. Unfortunately that's "house style" at DC and Marvel for you.
