Re: "I hate kids!"
(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 12:24 am (UTC)(link)I will say this: most kids are okay when they're alone/with their parents. Put them in school groups and they seem to magically become unmanageable little hellions. God bless people who become primary school teachers, because Lord knows I couldn't do it.

They realize you have authority and that if they don't follow your rules there will be consequences. It's basically the same as managing adults, when you think about it that way.
Actually, it's probably a lot easier than managing adults. When I stand up to speak in front of a class full of children, they're quiet in 0.4 seconds. When I stand up to speak in front of adults, the talking will continue until I do something about it lol.
Re: "I hate kids!"
(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 12:43 am (UTC)(link)I'm pretty sure people who are super-uncomfortable around kids don't actually have any real practical experience with kids, or have never considered kids human and therefore never tried to see them as such.
