I think there's a difference between how we judge thing rationally and how we feel about them?

I've been pro-choice as log as I remember. But when I had a pregnancy scare in college I a) knew I'd have abortion if it came to it but b) also knew that it would haunt me forever on some level, because I'd always have wondered what our kid would have been like..

Fortunately it was a false alarm.

I was also sort of taken back when I found out my mom had an abortion before me. Rationally I completely support it, but there's an emotional reaction to it you don't quite control.

I think it's okay to have strong feeling about it either way, as long as you don't assume all women feel the same, or that how you feel should even be a factor in discussing the legality of abortions.
