I am pro-choice and find it extremely relieving and soothing when a film character goes through with an abortion. Even watching the scene itself, I just think, "Oh thank god, she's actually going to go through with it," and I feel so much lighter and happier for having seen it and knowing for sure that the pregnancy is not going to progress. Those are my own feelings about pregnancy coming through.

I don't judge you at all for not feeling the same way. Lots of people are uncomfortable with seeing invasive surgeries on TV, and depending on your perspective abortion can seem very invasive. Plus, we've been flooded with so much false information (propaganda, really) about how inherently awful and traumatic abortion is, that for some people it almost becomes a self-fulfilling reality. Plus, if you're someone who really loves being pregnant, or really wants to get pregnant, then it makes sense that your own personal feelings of not wanting an abortion might color how you respond to the sight of a character you like/identify with getting an abortion.

As long as you still support women's rights to choose, and as long as you don't act squeamish or judgmental around women if they happen to mention that they've had an abortion, then it's all fine.
