I know I'm late to the party, but I'll echo what others have said.

I, myself, am pro-choice because I believe abortion is a choice that should be between a woman, her doctor, and her belief system. Every woman should have the choice to make her own decisions.

The fact that I would only abort under very specific circumstances (ie. the child would not survive more than a few hours outside the womb even if carried to full term) doesn't make me any less pro-choice. Or the fact that for me, life begins at conception.

Not every woman feels the same way, and I respect that. I would rather abortion be safe and legal than illegal and therefore much more dangerous.
