I liked the art at a certain point but it really took a nosedive in the more recent chapters. Everyone has hunchback and gremlin faces.

To be honest the manga is already past it's prime and hopefully will end when the 3rd years graduate. I really can't see the art improving or any fresh concepts to keep it going any longer.

I disagree. I think Haikyuu!! has now, for the first time, dragged a game out more than is necessary, imo, but other sports anime do this all the time - Haikyuu!! is actually one of the lesser offenders in that department.

I also doubt it will end after the 3rd years graduate, seeing as Hinata is the protagonist (and it's also way too popular to end it, but that is rarely a good reason, I admit). And the fresh concepts (as much as there can be fresh concepts in a sports manga) only come in after the 3rd years graduate - the changing dynamics in the team, new first years, new captain etc. could be interesting. (It's already set up in certain ways, so ... yeah).

Twenty if you cound the buildup.

It was the SECOND-TO-LAST match of the main arc of the manga.

And then the show ENDED.
