I mean, people have managed to find Bendradil Crocante attractive, so it's obvious the threshold for what a white man has to look like in order to be considered hot is obviously really, really low.

But yeah, hypothetically... There's a reason Peter Pettigrew is the marauder that gets least fandom attention, and if he was portrayed by Alan Rickman you can bet your ass his off-putting personality wouldn't have been a problem.
