I have a few things:

I never thought I would ever read femmeslash because most of it was usually badly-written lesbian porn. And then the Ace Attorney fandom happened with a brilliant Franziska/Adrian fic.

I never thought I'd write porn that wasn't sticky/sex sex sex. But my favorite porn I've written was a Transformers porn where it was sparkplay. No "spikes and valves". Just tactile fondling of the spark and spark-meeting-spark and the reactions that came with it turned out erotic as fuck.

And I never thought I'd ever write crossovers ever. But first I did some DBZ crossovers. Now I'm working to Transformers crossovers and Steven Universe crossovers and a few Hunger Games crossovers.
